Sorry if the title is a little lame, I'm awful at giving titles to my artwork most of the time. 
So in this painting, there's a beautiful woman with a red rose and a blue dasiy in her hair and behind her is a beautiful nightsky, mountains and some calla lilies.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactFirst and foremost, I protest the remark that the title is "lame". The title is in fact classic and, what's more, fitting to such a lovely masterpiece!
My first thought when I look at this is the romance of France. This painting is as resplendent as La Seine and yet as scenic as the countryside of Provence!
The woman looks so mysterious, content and modest. She knows she is beautiful, but she's not vain either. The shading and lighting on the rose and daisy are very well done, making this night time scene glow in it's own nocturnal way!
And best of all, the stars are just simply dazzling in a still way.
